THE CREW OF THE RELENTLESS

CAPTAIN ROSS "FLASH" CLARK
Captain Flash has spent the better part of his life on the water. Flash learned the business of sport fishing while mating for such notable Captains as Ronnie Hamlin – with whom Flash helped develop the "bait and switch" method for billfish – and Aussie Captain Dennis Hayes. Flash began his love of fishing when only 13 years of age working his way through the northeastern waters of the US including Cape Hatteras and the Oregon Inlet. His 30 plus years on the water include multiple seasons in places like Australia's Great Barrier Reef, the Blue Marlin haunts of St. Thomas, Venezuela, the Eastern Pacific waters of Costa Rica, Panama and Guatemala as well as Isla Mujeres, Mexico. A seasoned captain and angler, Flash has played roles in world record catches of White and Blue Marlin. Winner of the 1995 Guatemalan Billfish Tournament – numerous top 3 finishes – 1,570 billfish landed in a single season... there's no arguing that Captain Flash is one of the top Captains on the water today. His largest fish - a 1,218 pound Black Marlin caught off of Cairns, Australia.
MATE BOBBY LARUE
Chances are that if you cut Bobby LaRue, he'd bleed saltwater. It would be fair to call Bobby a modern day Popeye with a handful of pirate mixed in. Bobby started his career fishing out of Glocester, Massachusetts and was one of the originators of the huge Bluefin Tuna fishery off the northeast coast of the US. Having spent literally everyday on the water for nearly twenty years straight, Bobby still continues to fish the Bluefin 2 -3 months out of the year. While still a commercial fisherman, he has come to find his greatest passion is infecting clients with the love of sport fishing. A battlte tested angler and wireman, Bobby will no doubt pass on his love of the sport and the sea to any angler, beginner or veteran. His willingness to share stories and techniques coupled with what seems to be a never-ending supply of energy (must be the spinach) is the best fish magnet we've ever found.
